You've probably heard of the Cornell chicken recipe. You might not know there's a marker in Lansing for the man behind it all, Bob Baker. He developed the recipe and the cooking method to support fundraising by community groups.
On top of local food lore, there’s a food-based fundraiser in the same area coming up (check out the "Quick Hits" section) and the Quarterly snail mail has a chicken recipe of its own.
Oh, and don't forget to thank Mr. Baker the next time you have a chicken nugget. He invented those too.
📮 QUARTERLY UPDATE 📮
The first-ever Finger Lakes Effect Quarterly is nearly halfway sold out.
And the Quarterly is getting an upgrade. Since it’s a quarterly, how about a look ahead and big events, annual happenings, and special occasions over the next three months?
Add that to everything else, and now I just need to make sure the envelopes can still close.

Sneak peek at a test page!
