We’ve got graduations going on, tons of other events, and I’ve got some fun stuff down below, including the FLX Trail game.

What is this?

It’s a fun pixel-art game that I’ve been building on the side for the past month. Oregon Trail meets Carmen Sandiego, Finger Lakes edition.

📘 BOOK CLUB UPDATE📘

Thanks to everyone who is participating in the book club. If you haven’t already grabbed your copy of the “111 Places In The Finger Lakes That You Must Not Miss”, you still have time, and can find it in stores around the region.

I’m still hammering out how we can make this work well for everyone and I think I’m close to a solution. Now that the FLX Trail game is out, I can spend a bit more time reading and thinking about a book club 😃

Dinner Club - Ithaca is the location for May 28th! Come join us - it’s always a good time. A wide range of ages and backgrounds, and always good conversation.

Finger Lakes 50s - Looking for a 4th of July adventure? Come join us in the Finger Lakes National Forest for a 25K, 50K, or 50M trail run! Not sure you can run the whole thing? No problem, choose the 25K and walk, hike, or run your way through the loop. Entrants get free camping at the Potomac Group Campground the night before and after the race, a race tech shirt, a finisher award (last year was a full-size beach towel), post-race meal, drinks, and more. I’m slightly biased - my wife, Jeney, and I are the race directors for the Finger Lakes 50s for the non-profit Finger Lakes Runners Club. It’s going to be fun, it might be blazing hot or pouring rain, but I can guarantee you will have a memorable time!
