A lot going on this week, so let’s step through the good stuff real quick.

Tonight, the Orionid meteor shower peaks and the sky is forecast mostly clear. The moon sets at 3:21 AM, so the good window is the few hours before dawn.

Sunday, the Gorge Trail at Watkins Glen closes for the season at 6 PM. The park also says it can close earlier if we get several nights in the 30s, so check beforehand if you’re driving any distance to get a final gorge hike in.

Tuesday, Fulkerson Winery walks people through the vines as it gets dark, with a happy hour alongside it. Details below!

And Dinner Club signups have about a week left. There’s a great group heading to Canandaigua, with ten tables booked so far!
