Quick one to kick things off. Registration for the Hare Prix 10K closes tonight at 11:59.

If you've been meaning to sign up, this is your nudge. And if you haven’t, this is also your nudge.

It's Saturday morning in Watkins Glen. Race it, walk it, or land somewhere in between, and everyone ends up at Lucky Hare afterward. (I'm the race director, so come say hi!)

After that, the calendar fills up fast. Dinner Club heads to Skaneateles next Thursday, fall officially starts Tuesday, and the events are many.

🏁 RACE WEEKEND 🏁

This Saturday is the second annual Hare Prix 10K, and I'm hoping to see some Finger Lakes Effect readers out there. Watching returning and brand-new runners come through is one of my favorite parts of the day.

Registration closes tonight at 11:59 PM. Everyone ends up at the Lucky Hare marina for the after party.

All finishers get a medal. Brunch and a race tech shirt are optional. Details here!

🍽️ DINNER CLUB 🍽️

Next stop for Dinner Club: Skaneateles, on Thursday, September 24.

It's Dinner Club's first time in Skaneateles, and a good excuse to enjoy a great meal and make some new friends.

Not sure how it all works? Click here for details and to sign up.

It's been so fun getting to know people from around the area, then seeing familiar faces again alongside new ones each time.

"I am so happy I signed up for this! It was so nice getting to know people in the area and just chatting among people who share the same community. The food was great and the vibes were great for just meeting people for the first time!"
